	Clio III (XRO) - 2005 onwards Switch ignition On. Repeatedly press button [A] or [B] until the 'spanner' symbol flashes and the distance remaining to the next service appears in the odometer display. Press and hold button [A] or [B] for approximately 10 seconds until the new service interval is displayed. Release button [A] or [B]. Switch ignition OFF.

	Espace IV (JKO) - 2002 onwards Switch ignition On. Repeatedly press button [A] until the 'spanner' symbol flashes and the distance remaining to the next service appears in the odometer display. Press and hold button [A] for approximately 10 seconds to reset the service interval indicator. This will flash for 2 seconds, then light continuously when it is stored. Release button [A]. Switch ignition OFF.

	Kangoo (XCO) - 2001 to 2007 The lamp illustrated in the image is an 'oil level low' warning lamp and is not a service interval indicator lamp. The lamp will extinguish automatically when the engine oil is at the correct level.

	Master Propulsion - 1999 to 2007 The lamp illustrated [A] when illuminated at the same time as '----OIL' [B] is displayed is an 'oil level low' warning lamp and is not a service interval indictor. The lamp will extinguish automatically when the engine oil is at the correct level.

	Modus - 2004 onwards Switch ignition On. Repeatedly press button [A] or [B]. Select 'oil changes'. Press and hold button [A] for approximately 10 seconds. The distance remaining to the next service appears in the display. Release button [A]. Switch ignition OFF.

	Laguna - 1994 to 1998 Switch ignition ON. Press the reset button [A] until the spanner symbol flashes. Keep button depressed until the spanner symbol stops flashing and remains illuminated. Release button [A]. Switch ignition OFF.

	Laguna II (XG1) - 2005 to 2007 Switch ignition On. Repeatedly press button [A] until the 'spanner' symbol flashes and the distance remaining to the next service appears in the odometer display. Press and hold button [A] until the display has flashed 8 times. Release button [A]. The new service interval is now displayed. Switch ignition OFF.

	Megane II (XMO) - 2002 to 2008 Switch ignition On. Repeatedly press button [A] until the 'spanner' symbol flashes and the distance remaining to the next service appears in the odometer display. Press and hold button [B] until the new service interval is displayed. Release button [B]. Switch ignition OFF.

	Scenic II (JMO) - 2003 to 2008 Switch ignition On. Repeatedly press button [A] or [B] until the 'spanner' symbol flashes and the distance remaining to the next service appears in the odometer display. Press and hold button [A] or [B] for approximately 10 seconds until the new service interval is displayed. Release button [A] or [B]. Switch ignition OFF.

	Safrane - 1994 to 2001 Switch ignition ON. Press the reset button [A] until the spanner symbol flashes. Keep button depressed until the spanner symbol stops flashing and remains illuminated. Release button [A]. Switch ignition OFF.

	Vel Satis 2.0 Turbo - 2000 onwards Switch ignition ON. Repeatedly press button [A] until the 'spanner' symbol flashes and the distance remaining to the next service appears in the odometer display. Press and hold button [B] until the new service interval is displayed. Release button [B]. Switch ignition OFF.

Some vehicles are fitted with a ‘SERV’ lamp - this is not a service interval indicator lamp, it is a malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) Service Light Reset – Renault Safrane The reset button is located on the bottom right hand side of the Rev counter on the instrument cluster. Switch ignition on. Press reset button until “spanner “ symbol flashes. Keep button depressed until “spanner” symbol stops flashing and remains illuminated. Indicator shows appropriate service interval. Release reset button. Switch ignition off. Some vehicles are fitted with a ‘SERV’ lamp - this is not a service interval indicator lamp, it is a malfunction indicator lamp (MIL). How to reset service light on 1997 to 2005 Renault Clio 2 – 1.2 Engine should be off, hold down both buttons at the end off stork. Switch on still holding buttons down then switch off then press buttons ten times. The new mileage will show. If it's just the spanner flashing on the dashboard then it's easy to reset. Scroll through display using button on end of wiper stalk until you get to the remaining mileage. Press and hold button until display flashes to new service mileage. Keep button held until the spanner stops flashing and let go of button. Turn ignition off and on to check, bingo!! You can reset the SERV/MIL light by disconnecting battery negative for 20 seconds but you need to recode your radio, and if fault is still active it will come back on again Reset service light on Renault Megane 03 Press and hold your trip reset button (below the speedo) for 30 seconds. Use gloves as it is sharp Renault Scenic service indicator light reset To reset the service indicator on the scenic II is as follows: Scroll through the trip computer using the button on the end of the right hand stalk control until you get to the miles till service indicator (or the "change oil soon message" will appear if due) Then press and hold the same button in and hold it. The miles indicator will then flash then change to 18000, keep the button pressed until the 18000 stops flashing. NOTE: If the word "service" appears on your dash then that does NOT mean that a service is due. It is an indication that the vehicle is faulty and has a stored major fault code. The indicator that a Service is due is when the words "change oil soon" appears or the spanner starts flashing. Kangoo service light reset, can only be done if the car has less than 10% of miles left til the mileage service interval eg. the car has done over 16200 miles and is on a 18k service plan. If the mileage for service is not met and the annual period service is due you can reset the light. The Trafic 2 phase 2, service light is reset via holding the accelerator pedal and turning the ignition on and waiting 10 seconds then press the brake pedal 5 times. If this does not reset the light after a few attempts then there is a known fault that Renault know about in which a Renault dealer will have to use a certain procedure on clip (diagnostic tool) to reset the light if this is needed I would try and argue the fact there is no need to pay labour as you tried the stated way it says in the handbook and is due to Renault manufacture fault. Alternative method start the motor tab to 'oil change soon' on the wiper stick (don't hold in...yet!) push and hold the reset button (bottom right of MPH clock) Now push and hold 'oil change soon' on the wiper stick...you should now be holdin both in! Service in 18,000 should start flashing in 15 sec for 15 sec then go solid Alternative method Press the button on the end of the right hand stalk to scroll through the trip computer screen. You will come across the one that shows a spanner in the bottom left corner, this is the "time to service". When you have selected the "time to service" screen, press and HOLD the black button on the instrument panel. It will start to flash after a few seconds, keep the button pressed until 18000 appears and flashes. Then release the button before the 18000 stops flashing. The screen will now show 18000. (18000miles till next service).
