Service Interval Warning Light - Reset Information

These servicing warning lights are normally reset (turned off) by the main dealer once they have finished servicing your vehicle.

If you have just serviced your vehicle yourself, or had it serviced in a local garage you may find that the 'service interval warning light' still needs to be reset to turned the light off.

Saab 9-3 (02-) 1.8 & 1.8i (2003to 2007)

Switch ignition ON.

Press brake pedal

Press button [A].

Turn button [B] until the message 'System Settings' is displayed.

Press button [B].

Turn button [B] until the message 'Service Info' is displayed.

Press button [B.] The message '% left of oil quality/days to service' is displayed.

Turn button [B] until the message 'Reset Service ind' is displayed.

Press button [B]. The message 'Are you sure? Yes or No' is displayed.

Turn button [B] to select 'Yes'.

Press button [B].

The message 'service parameters updated' is displayed.

Switch ignition OFF.


Saab 9-5 2.0 Turbo (1997 to 2007)

Switch ignition ON.

Press and release button [A].

Press and hold button [A] for at least 8 seconds.

The word 'Service' will appear in the display after 2 beeps.

Switch ignition OFF.
